Hair Dye "If you can't change your surroundings, change your hair color." - Brittany Murphy                 I have always been too scared to bleach my hair, just because it seems to be so permanent. Even though I know its not, it would grow out eventually, but to have to live with a bad decision for so long is frightening for me. On the contrary it was something I definitely wanted to experiment with. Lucky for me, my sisters where braver than I was, and let me experiment on their hair. The first time was a definite fail, I tried to give my older sister highlights. She didn’t let me take pictures because it was so bad.  She later went to a professional that fixed it for her. Years later, my little sister was brave enough to let me try on her hair. She was smart though, she just let me bleach the tips, so if it turned out bad she could just chop it off.  I did a much better job

Pressed Flowers

Pressed Flowers “Flowers are the music of the ground from earth's lips spoken without sound.” - Edwin Curran      I love getting flowers, but it's sad when they start wilting and dying. So I was happy to find this trick to save the flowers’ color and beauty. This way I was able to keep flowers from my niece, flowers from a first date, and flowers from my wedding forever.       The flowers I will be using as an example are from a friend who came to visit my home for the first time. When they were starting to wilt I remembered that phone book I had laying around and decided to give it a purpose. (Who still uses phone books?)        There are other ways to press flowers, but this is my favorite way of doing it. You can use any book, or paper, preferably something you don't use. The pages will be soaking up all the moisture from the flowers. So I
